Alternate Art Mod for Proud and Few has been finished up and a link to download it has been posted on the Resources Page. Alt Art for SB7 is also done, but it doesnt do you a bit of good if the game hasn't been released yet, now does it? :^)
We'll get that out to you on official release day.

Part 2 in Marc Belizzis' tactics series covering the rifle company in the Deliberate Attack posted to the Tactics section of the site.
New Scenario for Squad Battles Korea by Wild Bill Wilder. "The Hussars" deals with some of the first contact with PLA regulars in early November of 1950. More crazed Chinamen with boom bags for those with a short lease on life in Northern Korea. Show 'em whose Boss.
Added a few more P&F scenarios to the Library.
Sitting on a few scenarios that need to be tested and also making the final touch ups on the P&F/PW Alternate Art Mod. Hang in there.

Welcome to Hells' Half Acre. This site was created due to the fact that material for the Eastern and Western front games of the SB series keep piling into Outpost Echo-Four at amazing speed. As this more than likely will continue to be so (given the popularity of wargaming those fronts during WWII and the general support for the Board Game Conversion project in general) a seperate site was needed for the Asian simulations.
Hell's Half Acre will now serve as an outlet for the creations of Task Force Echo-Four as much as it will be a library for all of the Asian theme Squad Battles games to date. This means that all material that has been created for these games will be posted here when found at other sites. This serves to provide a mirror of this work so that it will not be lost into the abyss of websites gone the way of the Carrier Pigeon.
For fans of wargaming Asian wars, a BG Conversion Project is also planned for these games (eventually), but I am in the process of collecting scenarios from various games ala Charlie Company, ASL, etc...that seem to be in much shorter supply than those covering the European Theaters.
I had originally planned to have this site cover only post WWII Squad Battles games, but at second thought it made more sense to include the whole of Asia in entirety. Ironically, 5 of the 7 Squad Battles games have an Asian theme, but the European games enjoy much more after market support from the fans in general. We have plans to remedy that a bit soon enough.

Squad Battles: Pacific War!
It's no big secret anymore, and soon SB7 will hit the shelves as it is already showing up on order forms at DIY wargame distributors in Europe. Will it receive the same coup de grace as SB:KW? My concern is that fans may be swayed from picking the game up due to past vibes, or thinking that it is just part deux of a past SB release. SB7 is an excellent game and offers as much variety as KW. 60 scenarios from Khalkin Gol to Burma, 3 campaigns, numerous nationalities, etc. It was a blast to work on and SB fans will be very satisfied, in my opinion.
Operation Kingfisher 1967
I am slowly but surely working on a project for the aging SBV, that covers the US 3rd Marine Division Operation Kingfisher (Con Thien and the DMZ) during the late summer of 1967. Scenario one is being playtested at the moment and I plan to do 6-10 scenarios in entirety. Vietnam is a great game, which seems to have gotten a lot of support in the beginning, but it seems to have died away in the past year or so although people still play it religiously.
The Resident Soul Collector of Hells' Half Acre
Although I have put up the basics of this site, Thomas Wulfes will be assuming command of it shortly after it's initial posting if all works well. Thomas is the most recent addition to Task Force Echo-Four and he is quite the creation machine. I will still be associated with the site of course, but all inquiries should be sent to Thomas once the change of command has taken place.
